A food review: lucky me pancit canton
“This is the best-Est
Pancit canton I’ve ever eaten”
Lucky me pancit canton
is one of the household brand enjoyed by most of the Filipino family since
1989. You can buy it in every store in the Philippine. This stir-fried noodle
was demanded by many people mainly because it’s easy to cook and affordable
price.
Trivia:
The Lucky Me! logo visually sends the signal of the brand’s care for its consumers. A graceful circle runs around the “Lucky Me!” text to give a feeling of a warm embrace from a good friend. The waft connotes the pleasant aroma and freshness of the meal ahead. It triggers happy memories of light, bonding moments – of sitting around, sharing life, and eating together over fantastic, flavorful, and fuss-free meals (mondenissin).
Presentation:
Since pancit canton were
affordable students like us demand it like In our school Bulacan State
University, one of the famous store that students can buy cooked Pancit canton
can be found on the 4th store from the left side away from Federizo hall. The
price starts at 20 pesos already cooked and served in a round container which
were kind of inconvinient for us to mix the seasoning.
The place where it can be
found were not that visible for the costumer to see and not that big to have
plenty of people to dine in, but the place is well maintain and their customer
service were great.
Texture:
The stir-fried noodle became a
thick yellowish and curly noodle when cooked. And the seasoning was consisting
of viscous soy sauce and its powdered preservative. Its smooth texture was easy
to be chew and is easy to slurp.
Taste and complexity:
Lucky me pancit canton has
many flavors like original, kalamansi, extra hot chili, chilimansi, and sweet
and spicy. The flavor we buy is a mixture of Kalamansi and Chili mansi, the
taste is heavenly that we can never get enough and we keep on eating again and
again. It also taste a bit spicy and salty, all in all it taste Unhealthy.
Since the store served it
cooked so for us it’s better to eat it while it’s still hot.
How good
is it?
Lucky Me! Instant pancit canton tastes
salty. It has MSG or Monosodium Glutamate that enhances the flavor, like an
outburst to your taste buds. As for us, we can really taste the chili flavor
and it is best served hot.
Pros and
Cons:
Eating
Lucky Me! Instant pancit canton can
be satisfying enough just to fill your empty stomach, plus it is easy to cook,
just as fast as 3 minutes. It is also cheap and can buy it anywhere. But eating
it on a daily basis is not good for your health. Eating it constantly would
lead to the lack of nutrients by the body. It can also cause illnesses such as
heart diseases, kidney damage, stroke and hypertension. So we suggest that do
not eat it on a daily basis, because too much instant pancit canton can kill you.
So..
Where can I buy it?
You
can buy it in any supermarket or sari-sari stores near you for as low as 10
pesos. It comes with many flavors such as calamansi,
chilimansi, sweet and spicy and many more. As for us, we bought it in a
stall inside our campus and it has an additional cost for the cooking and the
container.
The
Final Say
All
in all, Lucky Me! instant pancit
canton is worthy when it comes to just “filling your empty stomach”, but do not
eat it constantly. We would definitely buy this again!
