Despite of being a transgender Jhane “JDC” Dela Cruz prove that anyone can be a leader not just a leader but a great and effective leader. For the past 4 years of her reign as the Captain of Sitio Poblacion Brgy. Iba Hagonoy, Bulacan she manages to make changes and do great things to her people.

And her hard work has finally recognize on December 15, 2017 at Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium, City of Malolos, Bulacan held by Manila Bay-anihan cum 2017 Gawad Parangal Kalinisan at kaayusan ng kapaligiran (KKK).


The award given to Iba Hagonoy was “Natatanging Barangay sa lalawigan ng Bulacan sa Paglilingkod” because it was proven that Kap. Jhane serves her people well.


The said Captain was said to be the FATHER of lalawigan (province) and the SISTER of the Barangay.

Kap. Jhane thanks God and those people that support her all the way through her ups and downs.


Another award given was Iba hagonoy as the cleanest Barangay in the province of Bulacan that she received at the same place and time.


The award given to her proved that she really is an effective leader and a great follower, and that is one of the things why Ibanian's love and adore her.

And that is how she prove that being difference is not a hindrance on being a good leader

       Grandma's Dilemma  She used to remind me of all the things I have forgotten, but now even her own self was forgotten. Her sharp mine I used to admire is now shabby and rusty, she suffers pain that I think she deserves none of it. Now that the self is forgotten so please let the pain be with it.
